Six Ways to Turn Desires into Riches

Everyone desires to achieve something in life; more money seems to be on the top of mind for most, but it could be anything. Most people get frustrated on their journey to achievement or attainment, but there are simple practices out there that you can reference to keep you on track. "Think and Grow Rich" by Nappleon Hill is a classic motivational book, inspired by Andrew Carnegie, that was written in 1937 right after the great depression. In these pages are awesome practices to help keep you on track. I'd like to share and summarize 6 practical steps that can help you achieve your goals. If Thomas A. Edison can put his stamp of approval on the following steps, not only in reference to the accumulation of money, but for the attainment of any goal, then you should be able to as well.

"Whatever THE MIND OF MAN can CONCEIVE and BELIEVE it can ACHIEVE"

First: fix in your mind the exact amount of money you desire. It is not sufficient merely to say "I want plenty of money." Be definite as to the amount.

Second: determine exactly what you intend to give in return for the money you desire. (There is no such reality as "something for nothing.")

Third: establish a definite date when you intend to possess the money you desire.

Fourth: create a definite plan for carrying out your desire, and begin at once, whether you are ready or not, to put this plan into action.

Fifth: write out a clear, concise statement of the amount of money you intend to acquire, name the time limit for its acquisition, state what you intend to give in return for the money, and describe clearly the plan through which you intend to accumulate it.

Sixth: read your written statement aloud, twice daily, once just before retiring at night, and once after arising in the morning. As you read--see and feel and believe yourself already in possession of the money.

You need a definite of purpose, the knowledge of what you want, and a burning desire to possess it. When I think of a great modern example of these practices, I think of Tiger Woods. Every swing of the golf club that he has ever taken has had a purpose. He knew when he was a kid that he wanted to be the greatest golfer to ever play the game and had a burning desire to make it happen. Look at him now! Every day he wakes up, he has a desire to better himself. You don't have to be a kid to make your dreams come true; so what are you waiting for?

(I will follow up in the near future as to why autosuggestion is a key element to success)

Nice, I have used these techniques for many years and they definitely work. If you don't believe in yourself and willing to commit it to paper it is a dream not a goal.
